Happy Halloween ~ Bay Area Children's Photographer

whoa... Fall is in full swing!!! so far we were able to manage a little Halloween cupcake party with a few friends but now we are finishing up costumes, goody bags for the soccer team, crafts, food and fun for two school parties and jump starting '09 Fall Sessions... we like it busy around here. (although my house would appreciate a slow down soon and good un-cluttering session... but that is the boring stuff... bleah!!!!)

i had fun with this bunch... they are from opposite sides of the bay area and met up in between to get some family photos... and i'm very honored that they asked me to capture some images of them together.

FALL! it's my favorite... i enjoy every season, which is why i love California so much, central cali to be exact. you get a little of everything and just when you are getting tired of the season it moves on... to the spooky season... my favorite!!!




and you cannot bring in a new season without the proper cookies!!!


i'm also VERY excited because i got these delivered today!!! they are amazing! so bright and the colors are straight off my monitor (which is extremely important to me). i really like the canvas print i showed here a few weeks ago, but these are from another vendor and i think they are a bit more impressive and so i will be using them for all canvas prints.
they make an excellent holiday gift. (these are actually a birthday gift and sadly won't be hanging on my walls... but not to worry... i have a few images that i'm dying to get on canvas!)

i haven't really either... she's just fooling! (well mostly fooling, lol)
she was quite happy most of the time to show off her wings and play with the flowers and the pumpkins... Thank you for letting me hang you with you! ♥

I've also got an idea brewing that you all can help me with! I think Halloween is the BEST idea ever!!! Love all the costumes, pumpkins, scary decorations and spooky skeletons. I would LOVE to set aside a day in October for an afternoon of Halloween mini sessions. So if you are interested in finding a unique location (could be your super decorated home, your farm/barn land, or the coolest back alley ever!!!) where we could spend a few hours shooting... and you get a few of your friends together... you will get your session FREE!!! and a $50 print credit!!! I will continue scheduling sessions for late November and December, however the holiday cards will only be available to those that book before November 15, 2009. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!

The above image is a sample of the new holiday cards available. Super colors if you want something a little different for your holiday cards. Card designs will be limited in availability as each family will get to choose their own card for the season.

this little man is ONE!!! and he likely thinks that my camera is a facial feature!
i began photographing him when he was still in the oven.... AND he loves it!
our sessions are generally 30-40 minutes! he just gives me that winning smile and we are off...
this time he even did a little dance number, it was the BEST!!!


for this session we traded those swirly lolli's for colorful balloons...


isn't he SWEET!!! his mama sure thinks so and so do i!!! happy birthday little man!!!
i can't wait till Halloween and see what he's got for a costume!
